This is a Swedish 1/6 Riksdaler struck during the reign of King Gustav III (1771-1792). The obverse features a right-facing portrait of Gustav III with the legend 'GUSTAVUS III D.G. REX SVECIAE' (Gustav III, by the Grace of God, King of Sweden). The reverse displays the Swedish coat of arms (three crowns on a shield) within a laurel wreath, with the legend 'FÄDERNESLANDЕТ' (The Fatherland) and the denomination '1/6 Rd' with the date 1778 and mint mark OL (Stockholm mint, mintmaster Olof Lidström).
